The drug used is Griseofulvin, which is an antifungal medication. It is used in the form of tablets and consumed when the creams or ointments are ineffective to treat skin infections of skin, nails, and hair.
The patient may feel nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, or insomnia as side effects. Stop the medication if below side effects show.
Griseofulvin is only used for antifungal problems, do not self prescribe for any other kind of infection. Pregnant women must prevent to use the medicine. If it is being difficult to consume these tablets, try consuming it in pieces or by crushing it. Do not overdose, and it is ok if you missed. Make sure to take on the next scheduled time.
